..::Distortion::.. - Updates for the Month of October

Greetings legions,

I am preparing a very special edition of the show for the entire month of October. \m/

..::Distortion::.. proudly presents:
Bands and their side projects.

Starting TOMORROW, October 1st, I will be featuring a show focused on the main Thrash Metal bands and their side projects. Also, I will be talking to Mr. Glen Alvelais (whom you may recognize from bands like The Forbidden, and Testament) LIVE all the way from California, and we will talk about his most recent project, Tenet (band formed with members of Strapping Young Lad - Go Canucks GO!-), as well as his musical career, and his contribution to the Thrash scene in general.

Also, expect to hear the latest singles from Megadeth, Slayer, Belphegor, Immortal, Arch Enemy, Dying Fetus, Vader and More!

On the third hour ..::Distortion::.. will feature Eric "The German Dude's" Section on VERY EXTREME-MOTHERFUCKING-BADASS Metal. You will regret to miss out on this one.

Remember to Tune In from 8 - 11pm (EST) only HERE.
Just Click on Listen Live and You will be Good To Go!

As usual: Stay Brutal

Rammstein Is Back!

Yours truly, an all-time Industrial fan, is pleased to announced that German Monsters' Rammstein will be releasing a record sooner than you think . Liebe ist fur alle da will be out on October 16th in Europe and on October 20th in the USA, via Universal records. The mixing of the album (which was done in Stockholm) has been completed and the album is confirmed to have 11 tracks. Pictures taken throughout the recording of the album are available on the Band's website.

The band has already released the video for the first single of the album, Pussy, which is available by clicking Here (WARNING: The video contains nudity and sex scenes and is not suitable for minors.)

My comments on the video:

I am actually quite satisfied about their edginess. I was not expecting the video to be so incredibly explicit, but at the same time that does not catch me by surprise. Controversial is their middle name and it sells! I think this video makes a fantastic comeback for Rammstein; however, I am still not fully sure if I fully dig their whole "Te Quiero Puta" musical approach. Mark my words, this video will be banned WAY before the album is released. Let's see what happens.

Either way, I am still waiting to get the whole album to get a more concrete idea about where the band stands musically, after hearing all sorts of rumors about how they had officially come to an end, which obviously was very disapp
ointing at the time.

Stay tuned for more comments
